Spring Fishing !

Spring fishing is starting to heat up. I did a last minute trip today on Peconic Bay. We hit the striper grounds, and managed a couple of shorts, and a nice slot fish which we kept for dinner. We tried fluking, but with the foul wind, the drifts didn't work out, and we only caught a few porgies. All in all it was a good day for early spring.
