Blackfish Limit
There was a one day break in the weather yesterday, and I went out blackfishing with Paul Caccioppo. The weatherman was on, and there was less than 5 knots of wind north of Plum Island, where we set up to fish. We found a nice rock pile, and had fish almost immediately. We fished both sides of the tide, and managed to catch our limit of keeper blackfish, and a huge trigger fish. Lots of shorts to keep the action going, and a great day on the water. Great fillets made for a great dinner last night.
